About Me
Hi, I am Anastasiia Zatserkovska, 31, a curious homebody with a camera roll full of paint chips, fabric swatches, and screenshots of chairs I probably do not need. I am not an interior designer. I am a happy mom who spends a lot of time at home with my child, and that season of life nudged me to pour my creative energy into interiors and home decor. This blog is my living notebook for ideas I love, projects I want to try, and experiments I have already tested in the real world of spilled juice, nap-time deadlines, and tight corners.
I have always been drawn to fashion trends and the thrill of stylistic change. A new silhouette in my closet used to be my favorite way to reset my mood. Now I treat my home the same way. I think of rooms like outfits you can remix. A rug becomes the statement coat. Lamps are jewelry. Wall art is the bold lip that pulls everything together. I love how interiors let you play with scale, texture, and proportion in a way that feels both expressive and practical. You live inside the choices you make, and I find that intoxicating.
Because I am not an expert, I ask beginner questions out loud. Will this trend age gracefully or feel tired by next summer. Can I recreate that Pinterest kitchen on a weekend and a sane budget. Is peel-and-stick better than paint for a quick backsplash. What exactly does boucle look like after a year of snacks and crayons. My posts are my answers so far. Sometimes I nail it. Sometimes I course-correct and tell you what I would do differently. Either way, I share the receipts, the sources, and the thinking that got me there.
I design for feelings first. I want my home to greet me with a relaxed exhale. I want corners that energize me in the morning and soften in the evening. I want every little object to earn its place by sparking joy or making life smoother. That could be a ceramic bowl that corrals keys without clatter, a linen throw that actually warms, or a playful lamp that makes me smile when I pass by with laundry. If an item does not earn applause, it gets edited out.
Pinterest is my research lab. I pin rooms and details that make my heart skip, then reverse-engineer why. Is it the light, the composition, the ratio of matte to shine, the way the wood tone balances the textiles. I keep boards by room, mood, and color so you can follow the breadcrumb trail from inspiration to action. I always link back to original sources and credit creators, because respecting the work behind a beautiful image matters to me. If you ever spot a missing credit, email me and I will fix it quickly.
This blog is built for conversation, not perfection. Here is what you can expect from me:
- Honest, first-person notes from a non-expert who learns by doing
- Budget-aware finds mixed with a few strategic splurges
- Seasonal refreshes that do not require a total overhaul
Here is what I ask from you:
- Be kind in the comments
- Credit creators when you share
- Email me if you spot an error or want to collaborate
If you landed here because a pin made you curious, welcome. If you are here for slow, satisfying changes that make home feel more like you, you are in the right place. I am so glad you are here, and I hope the posts give you the nudge, the tool list, or the brave color combo you needed today.
